Policies and what to expect
What to wear, who may come in and how booking works, before you pay.
Booking and deposits
Book a pass or a treatment online, or call the desk. A card may hold a 90-minute massage or a party of four or more, and the deposit goes toward your visit. Passes need none.
Cancelling and running late
Please give 24 hours notice to move or cancel a pass or a treatment, or 12 for an evening pass. A treatment you arrive late for runs to its end time, so the next guest is not kept waiting.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a booking without telling us, the desk may ask for a card to hold your next one. The terms show when you book.
Children and companions
The spa is for guests 18 and over. We do not offer a family day or a visit for children, and companions under 18 cannot wait in the lounge.
Patch tests and allergies
No service here needs a patch test. The booking page asks about allergies and sensitivities, and you can tell your attendant or therapist before a scrub, a massage or a facial.
Redos and refunds
If a treatment was not what you hoped for, tell us within a week and we will look at it together.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never added to your bill. Leave one at the desk, or hand it to the person who looked after you.
Using the thermal areas
Wear the uniform top and shorts in the shared rooms. The bathing areas are separate for men and women, and guests bathe there without swimwear. Shower first, tie long hair up and bring your towel into the heat. Guests must be 18 or over. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor before using the sauna, steam, hot pools or a body wrap. Leave a hot room if you feel dizzy or unwell.
Phones and quiet
Phones stay in your locker in the changing areas and the bathing areas, and no photos are taken anywhere inside. The lounge and the heated rooms are quiet rooms, so keep calls for the lobby.
